July 10 2001 - Sight fishing on Monomoy in it's prime!

Capt.Todd Murphy and guest enjoy a kodak moment on Todd's 18ft Hewes flats boat.

Each tide change brings stripers of all sizes on to flats, along dropoffs and into the channels of the Monomoy Region.  This area consists of two primary areas if you're on foot, and a third by boat.

South Beach, North Monomoy Island, and South Monomoy Island by boat provide some of the most spectacular sight fishing for striped bass imaginable.  Although they might be finicky, it's always that much more fun to cast to big shadows you can see in skinny water.  Fishing is truly a form of hunting on the flats.
